There are plenty of restaurants around the area like Chili's, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Subway and not to mention the historic Luna Mansion, a full service restaurant, that is said to have "ghosts"! You'll find a Movie Theater, service station, ATV dealership and veterinarian in the adjacent area. Super Wal-Mart with a McDonald's is directly across the street and Los Lunas High School is just on the other side of the freeway. Not forgetting our guests who might be buying and selling of horses, cattle and other livestock, a sale barn is located just 5 miles west of our Inn & Suites on State Road 6.
You will also find we are on the Historic U.S. Route 66. U.S. Route 66 was one of the original U.S. highways and it was established on November 11, 1926. The highway, which became one of the most famous roads in America, originally ran from Chicago, Illinois, through Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California, before ending at Los Angeles, covering a total of 2,448 miles. It was recognized in popular culture by both a hit song and the Route 66 television show in the 1960s.
